The little hair boutique offers micro and nano ring extensions. With this method no glue, wax, heat or weaving is used which means there is no damage to the clients natural hair. A metal ring is used with a strand that is matched to the colour of your hair this is then looped onto the natural hair and the ring is clamped at the root. To remove these extensions the ring is simply clamped the opposite way to release. Both micro and nano rings are applied the same way however nano rings are the smallest and most discreet extensions in the industry to date. They are 90% smaller and less detectable then any other ring system making them ideal for people with finer hair and people wearing their hair up a lot.
We use Indian remy hair for our extensions. Remy hair means that each strand of is laid in the same direction as the natural hair growth with the cuticle intact. When the hair is taken from the client donating (often for religious reasons) the hair is held and cut without it falling to the ground. This means the hair stays in the correct direction for the cuticle to be in the correct position making it a lot smoother shinier and less prone to matting. Indian hair has the same structure and density as European hair which means it blends very well and naturally.
It is advised that you have maintenance to your extensions every 4-8 weeks after the initial application. In this appointment your hair will need to be clean and dry:
* replacement of any hair extensions that have fallen out
* repositioning of any micro/nano rings the have slipped or grown out
*re placement of any cracked micro/nano rings
*separation of rings
* cut/trim if needed and styling of the hair
If you keep up with your maintenance and look after your extensions at home the hair can last up to a year. Maintenance is charged at £50 per hour
We can only give a quote for micro/nano extensions on consultation in the salon. During consultation you will be told about aftercare and advised which method is best for you
