Lisa – Salon Owner

Lisa has been hairdressing for nearly 20 years and opened the Little Hair Boutique in 2014! She’s spent the last 10 years growing the salon and creating a welcoming, fun environment for clients. She has a passion for colouring specifically colour changes and thrives in the bridal environment. She is also one of our extensionists offering nano extensions.

Favourite TIGI product:-

I think it would have to be headrush. One of TIGIS oldest products that has stayed a firm favourite throughout all the years. It’s a weightless shine spray that creates a beautiful sheen on the hair. I love using this on brunettes and blondes and hair up work to create the perfect finish. It really defines layers on straight hair as well without making the hair too heavy. All round great product!

What service do you enjoy the most?-

Colouring…any form of colour, even if it’s a root touch up. So satisfying to cover up those strands of glitter! I love how colour can totally transform a person. Not only how they look when they walk out the salon but also how they feel in themselves. That’s an amazing feeling.

If there was one TIGI product you couldn’t live without what would it be?-

It has to be oh beehive dry shampoo. I even use this on my own hair when its freshly washed to give it more grit and body, but also on those days where I maybe should of washed it but haven’t….yes even us hairdressers have those days!

What do you like most about the salon?-

It has to be our daily atmosphere. We have all worked so closely together in the last 10 years and are all genuine friends as well, I think that shows to our client and our relaxed atmosphere means we also become good friends with our clients too which is so lovely. Lets just say after being in the hairdressing industry for over 13years I still look forward to coming to work.

Hobbies:-

I am a very social person so like to be on the go all the time. I love meeting friends for lunch and dinner as I am also a foodie!! Always up for trying new places. I do also enjoy shopping and I love hosting dinner parties and gatherings for all my friends. My favourite thing to do these days is be a mum, I absolutely love it and days out with my daughter beat anything else…(with my fiancé as well of course..!)

Favourite meal:-

Its so hard to choose one! I’ve always been a curry lover, I do like a bit of spice too. But we’re also big on Mexican food in our household! To be honest there’s not much at all the I wouldn’t eat, I’ve been eating stilton cheese and mussels since the age of 5!! Yummy!
